Chef Sokol has been involved with many culinary associations as Vice President & President. He has competed and captained culinary teams in international competitions, Sweden, Thailand, Hungary, Argentina, Canada, England, Germany.

  • Sous Chef for Harvey Hotels, 1983-1984, opened Plano and Addison Hotels

  • Classically trained under German Master Chef for three years

  • Executive Chef of Brookhollow Golf Club for 38 years. Hired in 1984-present

  • Certified Executive Chef accredited by the American Culinary Federation in 2000

  • Member of the Texas Chefs Association-served on the State Board from 1996-2004.

  • Member of the Epicurean World Master Chefs Society since 1999.

  • 1997 Gold Medal Winner in San Antonio Chef’s Triathlon Competition.

  • 1999 Silver Medal winner in Dallas Texas Iron Chef Competition.
